Much-hyped Colin Firth flick ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service‘ is out now, and the makers of the film are giving you the chance to immerse yourself in its world (while you’re actually in Westfield). They’ve teamed up with Google to set up a booth in the shopping centre where fans can see themselves in one of three key scenes from the movie, dressed in clothes from the Mr Porter x Kingsman Collection.
Yep, it might be a promotion for a fashion line promoting a movie, but it actually sounds pretty cool. You stand in front of a custom-built green screen and are captured by camera rig shooting 16 simultaneous images. It’s a bit like the 3D filming technique John Lewis used to make kids’ teddies come to life in December. The personalised animation is then available to share on social media.
We reckon it’s definitely worth giving it a go if you’re heading on a shopping trip before February 6.
