We’ve heard of random acts of kindness, but this takes the biscuit base. According to the Londonist, residents of two blocks of flats on Bermondsey’s Setchell Estate opened their front doors last weekend to discover that an anonymous do-gooder wanted to ply them with creamy cheese and crushed cookies: on each of their doorsteps was a Tesco carrier bag containing a cheesecake. Shortly afterwards, they opened their doors again to find a McVitie’s biscuit selection. No explanation. Nothing. Looks like someone’s keen to make sure they get their just desserts.
