Uber is now delivering kittens to your desk (sadly, not in London – yet!)

Time for a huge hit of city envy. Lucky workers in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Geelong, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney can get cats delivered to their offices on demand. Yes, you read that right. Taxi app Uber has launched a $30-$40 cat delivery service in Australia and the US. All users need to do is open their Uber app between noon and 4pm, request kittens, wait for their delivery to arrive and then enjoy 15 minutes of uber-cute playtime.

These adorable little balls of fluff come from animal shelters and all the money raised by the service will go towards them. So essentially you’re giving the kittens some TLC and also paying for them to be looked after. And if you totally fall in love with one of them (which, let’s face it, you probably will), there’s also the option to adopt one of them.

We’d love a snuggle with a cute little kitten before our 4pm slump. Hurry up Uber London, we’ve had a whip round the office and we’ve got a full kitty!
