Honey bees are stressing out right now

It seems the UK’s honey bees are as stressed as London’s beesness men and women.

A decline in the bugs’ population has been linked to them facing increasing ‘environment stress’, thanks to more attacks from parasites and pesticides.

Want to know what bees do when faced with these tough conditions? They send the most inexperienced buzzers out to forage. Just like business people sending their unpaid interns to get their Pret. And you know what happens to young bees who go foraging too early? They’re more likely die prematurely. Good one, guys.

The moral of this story: we need to look after our bees better and business people need to stop sending their interns to Pret.
