Oodles of noodles: it’s National Noodle Month

So far this year we’ve had umpteen National Food Days, including British Yorkshire Pudding Day, Breakfast Week, and of course World Nutella Day. We all know these pseudo-awareness days are dreamt up by jaded PRs who have flat-lined creatively, but still we can’t help getting sucked in – after all, who doesn’t want an excuse to stick their head in a jar of Nutella? Which brings us to National Noodle Month (or March, as it used to be known). Restaurants all over the capital – Chinese, Japanese and more – will no doubt be jumping onto the bandwagon, and we predict special menus galore crammed with the exquisite staple. Time to get slurping – but use your noodle to pick the best Chinese restaurants, Japanese restaurants, and ramen bars in London. By Nicola Arencibia
