Remember when TfL rolled out London’s first rainbow zebra crossing to support anti-homophobia in sport? Well, they’re showing support for diversity in the city once again!
This time round they’ve given an iconic Routemaster bus a rainbow makeover to celebrate Pride in London 2015. The No 8 bus runs across London from Bow Church to Tottenham Court Road and will remain in operation all year.
Martyn Loukes, Chair of OUTbound, says: ‘Following on from the fantastic success of the rainbow crossing last year, we wanted to create a new LGBT icon for London. What could be more iconic than a big red bus with the rainbow flag emblazoned on it, celebrating diversity and ten years of our LGBT+ network at TfL. Hop on board and Ride with Pride.’
