Oh. My. Gos. Yes, The Gosling is coming to London the week after next, so if you’re anywhere near the Curzon Soho on Wednesday April 8 or the Ritzy in Brixton on Thursday April 9, you’ll be in with a chance of spotting his Royal Gosness. He’ll be in town to promote his first film as a director, ‘Lost River’ (warning: it’s not very good), and will be taking to the stage of both cinemas after special preview screenings before the film’s proper release on Friday April 10.
The chances of getting hold of a ticket to either event at this point are about as strong as him accepting an invitation to come round your place for a candlelit dinner. But fear not: the Ritzy screening and Q&A will be beamed to loads of other cinemas around the city and country. So you’ll still be able to see him, even if you won’t be able to touch him, which is probably a good thing for everyone involved and less likely to result in police intervention.
