Giant Edible Gingerbread Ticket Office Pops Up On London's South Bank

If you find yourself a bit peckish for elevenses today, then get down to observation point on the South Bank next to Gabriel’s Wharf where you’ll find a 12 foot-high gingerbread house made from a whopping 700 gingerbread biscuit tiles. The Hansel and Gretel inspired pop-up is not the work of a wicked witch, but an edible ticket office that’s selling tickets for ‘Shrek’s Adventure!’, opening in July. Even if you’re just in it for the treats and don’t want to buy tickets, you can chow down on a piece of the house and fill your pockets with the free biscuits and candy canes being handed out. It all kicks off at 10.30am this morn and once it’s gone, it’s gone, so get down early to grab yourself a piece of the action. Sweeeet.
