Still mourning the closure of Swingers mini-golf course in Shoreditch? Well dry those tears and dust off your putters as new crazy golf course Plonk is bringing another element of competitive socialising to Efes Snooker Club in Dalston. From this week, Wednesday and Thursday nights at the notorious drinking den will be golf night! The House of Revelry have built a 200-foot crazy golf course which has taken over the dance floor and is suitable for golfers of all abilities/levels of sobriety.

Teams of four will negotiate the nine holes which include a smoking volcano, treacherous loop-the-loop, sneaky spinner, confusing randomiser and intimidating Aztec totem pole, not to mention the regular pool tables and and wayward revellers.

The holes will be switched around every month and they’ll be hosting tournaments for putting pros who’ll be rewarded with booze-based prizes. Well you didn’t think you’d escape a trip to Efes without a hangover, did you?
