UPDATE: THE NEW NIGHT TUBE MAP HAS ARRIVED!
We’re counting down the days until London finally gets the long-awaited 24-hour tube service and we can kiss the night bus and over-priced cabs goodbye. We’ve still got a few months to go until the first Underground lines go nocturnal in September this year, but in the meantime Max Roberts of Tube Map Central has designed a version of what the new night tube map could look like so you can start getting excited about how much easier that 4am trek home is going to be.
As the map shows, the new service will run on five of the Underground lines – Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria – and it looks set to make Londoners’ lives a whole lot easier. Hey, you can even take a night time trip across the entire length of the Northern line from Morden to High Barnet should you fancy it – although having inadvertently done this ourselves, we’d advise against it.
Want more night tube news? The Overground, DLR and other tube lines are going 24 hour too!
