Vinyl enthusiasts – get down to Dalston Oxfam right now, because last night Canadian producer and musician Caribou (aka Dan Snaith) decided to pop in and casually donate some vinyl from his personal collection – a mere 150 records, to be exact. The Dalston Oxfam branch tweeted at @Caribou asking if he was the mystery donator and he replied confirming that it sure was him.
. @OxfamDalston yup! just dropped off 150 records from my collection at Oxfam Dalston. they can let you know when they’re going to be 4 sale

Dalston Oxfam has since tweeted that the first batch will go on sale today and they’ll be putting more of Caribou’s cast-offs on sale every day this week. In fact, they’ve just put some out in the last hour! We know he had great taste as he talked us through his fave tracks in this epic 1,000 song playlist!
There doesn’t seem to be any vinyl junkies about so as I fear for my safety I’m sneaking a batch of those records out right NOW!!!!
