Put down that meal deal because lunchtime this week just got way more exciting. Middle Eastern restaurant Sesame is setting up shop in Covent Garden and to celebrate, they’re offering 50 percent off all filled pittas or big salads May 15–22. The brains behind the operation is Noam Bar, one of the founders of Ottolenghi, so you know it’s going to be good. To get your hands on your half-priced lunch, just show this blog post at the till (on your phone or a print-out) and get ready to chow down on some seriously tasty options, including spicy paprika chicken with garlic and cardamom, lamb and beef kebab with sweet spices or roasted aubergine and egg sandwich with mango pickle.

Sesame is at 23 Garrick Street, WC2E 9RY. It launches on May 15 and is open daily 7am–11pm. Follow them on Twitter at @SesameFood.
