You know how IKEA has those fake ‘bedroom’ setups that kind of make you want to hop into a bed and have a nap? Well, now you can – and they’re throwing in a Scandi-style breakfast too. Better still, you won’t even have to trek to IKEA to have your breakfast served in bed as they’re setting up shop in Shoreditch from today until May 20.

From 7am until noon, the kings of flat-pack furniture will be serving up traditional Swedish breakfasts while you lounge around in bed. And it’s not just breakfast on the menu – you can also choose what you want to rest your head on with their pillow menu. From noon-3pm, breakfast is off the menu but you can still pop in for a lie down and there will be sleepologists on hand to help you get the most out of your 40 winks. And it’s all completely free – just email IKEAbreakfastinbed@hopeandglorypr.com to book yourself a bed. Breakfast slots are 45 minutes, which is just enough time for a round of scrambled eggs and a quick power nap.

The IKEA Breakfast in Bed Café is at Blackall Studios, 73A Leonard Street, EC2A 4QS, May 18-20.
