Let’s get cooking! London gets its own ‘Breaking Bad’-style pop-up bar

The kind of cocktails usually cooked inside an RV’s laboratory aren’t normally something you’d proudly share with friends and family. But that’s about to change, as this summer we’re getting a ‘Breaking Bad’-themed pop-up bar set in the back of a mobile home, where you ‘cook’ your own cocktails (presumably they don’t serve half measures). ABQ – named after Albuquerque, where the show’s set – will only be able to fit 22 guests per night, with tickets costing £30 and including two cocktails. Given that there are already 15,000 sign-ups at the time we’re writing, you’d probably best get in quick, as it promises to allocate tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. By the way, it’s from the people behind the owl pop-up, but don’t worry: even animal activists shouldn’t be able to find anything to object in paying homage to ‘Breaking Bad’. After all, it’s pretty quirky. Or as we prefer to think of it: Albuquirky.
