They say history goes in circles. Well, the curators of 32 Londoners, a series of talks on the subject of historical figures from the capital, are bringing that age-old maxim to life this summer – by locating their event on the London Eye. On June 11, each of the Eye’s 32 pods will play host to 32 fact-packing special guests, speaking on the subject of 32 famous Londoners. From Anne Boleyn to Julian Assange via Karl Marx, Peter Cook, Jimi Hendrix and Vivienne Westwood, there’s something for everyone. The 2014 event was a smash-hit, and we expect nothing less this year from curators A Curious Invitation and Antique Beat. Tickets are on sale for just £40, inclusive of a free bottle of cider.
