Eduardo Paolozzi’s immense sculpture ‘Vulcan’ is in position at the Greenwich Peninsula ahead of tomorrow’s launch of London’s latest free attraction, The Line. Loosely following the Greenwich Meridian along the River Lea from the O2 to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the unique sculpture trail will place works by the likes of Gary Hume, Martin Creed and Turner Prize winner Damien Hirst along the three mile stretch. Whether you start your journey on the Emirates Air Line to get a bird’s eye view of the works or from street level at Stratford High Street, the only thing you should be doing this bank holiday weekend is walking The Line.

Launch event at Cody Dock on May 23 from 3pm-7pm with guides tours, talks, garden party and food stalls. Find out more at the-line.org.
