What will the tube of the future look like? Will it be run by a load of robots? Will the District line finally run on time? Will we all be commuting by hover board instead? Find out all the answers to your burning tube-related questions at a new exhibition by architects and designers from Studio Egret West, which looks at the past, present and future of the London underground as part of the London Festival of Architecture. Visitors will be able to wander round a futuristic tube station in the studio and if you want even more tube-geekery there will also be special events, film screenings and discussions on what the future of the tube might look like.
Tickets are free but you’ll need to book in advance here.
‘From Pavement to Platform’ is at Studio Egret West, 3 Brewhouse Yard, EC1V 4JQ. Free, June 4-7.
