There’s a giant dead dinosaur in London today

If you thought you saw a tyrannosaurus rex on your journey to work this morning, then you’ll be pleased to know you haven’t completely lost the plot. The 15 metre-long dino was covered by a bloody white sheet on the back of a van, which was spotted making its way past Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, London Bridge and Buckingham Palace today. But you can breathe a sigh of relief because the giant t-rex wasn’t the start of a dinosaur invasion in London, but just a publicity stunt from the National Geographic Channel to promote a new programme ‘T-Rex autopsy’. Still, it looks like it was a sight for (dino)saur eyes:
