One of London’s top party promoters, Secretsundaze – led by DJs James Priestley and Giles Smith – are hosting a special one-off party at Shoreditch club Village Underground tonight. And it’s absolutely free. The move comes in the wake of the recent Secretsundaze bank holiday party (held at Greenwich club Studio 338), which was shut down early after two punters were injured.
In light of the incident and the premature closing, Secretsundaze are now throwing this one-off bash. The line-up is unannounced, but rest assured that various top DJs will be joining James Priestley and Giles Smith behind the decks to to spin all manner of bangers and slick beats. The party is also aiming to be a show of solidarity for London’s clubbing community, demonstrating that clubbing is a safe and enjoyable activity for all. All proceeds from the night will go to Arts Against Knives, a London-based charity that promotes equality and works to provide at-risk young people with employment and training opportunities.
To gain entry to tonight’s party at Village Underground you’ll need to email firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Free party’ in the subject line beforehand, but note that priority for entry is being given to those who purchased tickets for the Secretsundaze bank holiday party – if that includes you, make sure you include your Resident Advisor ticket number in the email.
You’ll be emailed back if your application was successful. Good luck!
