What could be more decadent than chilling in a steaming hot tub with your mates? How about doing it with frozen cocktails and three courses of finger food? Yes please. Now throw in some party games, a leafy canal-side location, fluffy towels, music and hot showers and you’ve got east London’s coolest new night out – Supper Tub.
Launching on June 26, non-Glastonbury goers can have a fully wet and wild festival-esque experience without leaving London. Party organiser Adam Taffler is combining all the best bits of a dreamy night out – alfresco food, booze and fun, and chucking it into a wood-burning hot tub (not literally) next to the canal in Hackney Wick.
For one month from Thursday to Sunday, intrepid tubbers will be treated to Pisco sours and a bite-size Peruvian cuisine-inspired menu, all served tub-side on skewers to minimise mess (no one wants a bit of ceviche bobbing about). There will be after-dinner games and tub-side seats to chill out on the deck. Each tub seats eight people and you can book the whole thing or head over with a mate or a date. Sessions last two hours and you can choose to go in the afternoon or early or late evening, depending on whether you want to sunbathe, watch the sunset or star gaze. Tickets have just gone on sale – so get booking pronto.
Tickets cost £45 (includes dinner and a drink). Find out more and book at suppertub.co.uk.
