Plate of Thrones: it’s the Game of Thrones-themed supper club

Sad times: ‘Game of Thrones’ is over for another year. And what do you do when you’re sad? Why, try to plug the hole in your heart with food, of course. Hence, presumably this ‘Game Of Thrones’-themed supper club, organised by Funky Feast Pop Ups, featuring a room full of diners dressed up in ‘GoT’ costumes, being served dishes inspired by meetings of the Small Council, in a medieval-themed venue. Dishes include Cornish Lamb shoulder ‘with a Dornish wine jus’, a Targaryen-inspired Dragon Fruit dessert and guests having to lap their water from the manky flagstones of a prison room floor, a la Cersei Lanister. (NB one of these statements is untrue). It’s a 35-guest only affair, so you’ll probably need to book quickly (and dust off your finest Valyrian steel blade for your costume). The one thing we’re a bit sad about is that there doesn’t appear to be any food themed to Jon Snow. Still, we suppose that ‘Crow on a skewer’ wouldn’t taste so good…
