If you want to catch some free music tonight then make your way to Old Street, where coffee and cocktail venue Shoreditch Grind is inviting acts to busk to raise awareness for its #BuskForTheBond crowdfunder from 6pm. The venue has plans to open a roastery, as well as a sixth Grind branch and a central kitchen in east London. They’re aiming to raise £1.5million for the expansion, with a minimum of £750,000 needed to make co-owners David Abrahamovitch and Kaz James’ dreams a reality.

If you’ve got cash to splash, investments start at £500, which will get you a potential fixed rate return of 8 percent per annum, plus a card for ten free coffees and cocktails. If you really want to lend a hand with the boys’ plans then see what you can get for even more of your buck at their CrowdCube page.
