To celebrate the great man, a selection of his books, records and other ephemera will be on display in the window of Donlon Books on Broadway Market (until Feb 5), beneath a rolling projection of his Super 8 films. Hopefully they will include Jarman’s feature-length, punk-infused rave about the future of our own queen, ‘Jubilee’, which should be required viewing in this Diamond year of Her Majesty. If only this monarch of movie-making had lived longer.
