Our top weird and wonderful New Year’s Eve night out

Posted at 3:15 pm, December 29, 2011 in Music & Nightlife

Bored of the usual pubs and clubs? Stuck for New Year’s Eve inspiration? Look no further…
The Animal Party
The Last Tuesday Society will be hosting an animal fancy dress extravaganza. Penny Metal, The Delinquent Dandy and Francois Dirty South are just a few of the DJs aiming to encourage beastly behaviour. Look forward to nibbling on a whole host of treats too – a chocolate fountain, Suzette Field’s famous cheese board and Viktor Wynd’s midnight feast of yesterday’s cakes. Be warned, no costume, no entry.

Disappearing Dining Club – New Year’s Eve Extravaganza
This monthly pop-up restaurant will be ringing in the new year with an ‘All Night Dinner Dance’. Spilt into two rooms, the night will begin around a long dining table and end with dancing off your dinner to rock ‘n’ roll, soul, Balearic disco and classic house.

The Blitz Party
Hark back to the days of yesteryear with this 1940s themed bash. Dance along to big band classics in your wartime inspired getup. Immerse yourself in the night-watch original newsreels and tuck into an outdoor hog roast.

Torture Garden
Indulge your most outrageous fantasies and attend this notorious fetish party. Prepare for a night of aerial performances, cabaret, erotic installations, pole dancing, body art and so much more. Dress in your  finest latex, fantasy, drag, burlesque, uniform and anticipate a night to remember.
