Underground theatrical fun at the Vault Festival

Vault has transformed the labyrinth of Old Vic tunnels underneath Waterloo Station into an arts festival of kaleidoscopically varied entertainment for three weeks (February 9-26). Covering theatre, film and music, performances include a reboot of ‘La Bohème’ as a silent disco, digitally interactive theatre, an album of short plays set to music, and a late night programme of cabaret, comedy and live music. We’re particularly excited by ‘The Great Puppet Horn’, satirical shadow puppetry. All performances are ticketed separately with prices from just £5 but with hundreds of perfomers and nearly 10,000 tickets, they’re open all afternoon till late with a devilishly cheap bar and great music so even if you don’t have a ticket, push back the Leake Street door and enjoy.
