To celebrate London Fashion Week we asked a selection of top designers to tell us their favourite spots for shopping, relaxing and getting inspired.

Hackney based outerwear designer Christopher Raeburn has won several industry plaudits, including Best Emerging Talent at the British Fashion Awards. He specialises in re-imagining technical military fabrics, fashioning ultra modern garments out of reclaimed materials.

Shop: Get Stuffed, Islington (classic).

Café: The Counter Café, Hackney Wick (support your local).

Bar: I’m rather fond of the John Snow if I’m in central London.

Favourite place to stay in London: My flat; I travel so much I really look forward to getting home. We overlook the Olympic site so it’s an interesting place to be.

What are you looking forward to seeing in 2012? As we’re on the doorstep for the Olympics I have to say I’m rather looking forward to the madness…

Secret London spot: The Kyoto Gardens in Holland Park.

Market: Chiswick car boot fair on the first Sunday of every month.

Treat: I was treated to a wet shave at Gentleman’s Tonic, Gieves and Hawkes a little while back and it’s certainly something I’d like to repeat.
