Over at Time Out Towers we’ve have been on the Elvis Diet for weeks now, trying out the wave of new burger bars that have been bursting open across London like The King’s shirt buttons during his Vegas years. In the last week we’ve enjoyed Tommi’s and the new, Soho branch of Honest Burgers, but we’re bracing ourselves for a final blowout. Dirty Burgers take their meat treats seriously, using patties of Ginger Pig meat with an absurdly high fat content, creating origami with lettuce leaves, and encasing it all in a toasted sesame brioche bun. There are just a few toppings. Now, after popping up in Soho, Dirty Burger has found a new, permanent site in Kentish Town (officially open from Wednesday August 22), in a corrugated iron shack that’s part of the new Soho House development which includes a Pizza East and their new restaurant, Chicken Shop, at the bottom of Highgate Studios. Kentish Town looks set to be all shook up.
