Bee the first to know about Urban Food Week

Ever wondered how to keep bees in your back garden, grow your own mushrooms, or forage for food in the city? This week-long event put on by Capital Bee, promoters of community beekeeping in London, and Capital Growth, who champion urban growing schemes, aims to highlight the importance of ultra-local food. Various events are taking place throughout the week including a London honey-based Italian feast at Caffe Caldesi, identifying and eating unusual veg at King Henry’s Walk Garden in Islington, a conference on sustainable food choices in the capital and foraging for food in Stoke Newington. Don’t forget your wellies.
