Notting Hill light sculpture

If you’re wandering around Notting Hill tonight, don’t worry, that bright light isn’t an alien ship trying to transport the Marsh and Parsons office into space, it’s a new sculpture from light artist Adam Barker-Mills. The 7.5 metre high public artwork was commissioned to mark the Olympics and Diamond Jubilee and will be on display until March 2013. The twelve 1.3 metre circles cost a grand total of £19,000 and will form the only publicly funded civic sculpture in London. Carly-Ann Clements
