Picking up a tube map is always an exciting endeavour, not just because it’s an artistic icon, with thousands of creative reproductions, but because the front cover has become a space for lovingly designed pieces of tube-tastic art. As part of the London Transport Museum’s brilliant ‘Mind the Map‘ exhibition, they’re screening ‘Cover Story’ on October 23, a film showing what it takes to make the ever-changing tube map covers we know and love. A £10 ticket also gets you entry into the museum for one month, as well as access to delicious ‘TomTom’ Collins cocktails in the bar. Victoria Gray
