Dan Aykroyd

It’s possibly the end of the world on December 21. Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters, of course! Luckily, the legendary Dan Aykroyd will be on hand to sooth your Mayan jitters on Wednesday December 5 to promote his new vodka. Yes, you read that right Dananananaykroyd (sorry, no, not actually the band) has started making his own booze, Crystal Head Vodka, which is inspired by the supernatural (!?), comes in a classy skull bottle and hopefully makes you see spirits. With just over a month to go to what just might be the end of the world, Dan has organised a debate about the possible impending doom in a 13th century crypt below St Andrews Church in Holborn. We are extremely sad to say that the man himself won’t actually be there, but instead, philosopher Dr Stephen Law and Professor Elizabeth Graham, expert in Mesoamerican archeology, to delve into the 2012 prophecy debate – and there’ll be a bar with some serious vodka-based cocktails to wet your whistle, Aykroyd style.
