Fans of all things equine will want to get their asses down to Devonport House this weekend for the Greenwich Charity Pantomime Horse Race. Now in its third year, the race is the accumulation of a week’s worth of fundraising for the Demelza Hospice Care for Children, and will feature events such as a charity auction, face painting and live music. The race will find 20 competitors, including comedian Arthur Smith, donning some stylish panto horse gear and competing in drinking challenges at several Greenwich pubs. Last year the event raised £2,300 for the Demelza Hospice, and organisers are hoping to raise £10,000 this year.
