Yes, look again, that’s Daniel Radcliffe on the left in the thick-rimmed glasses: he’s starring as Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in ‘Kill Your Darlings’, a film which just had its world premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. The festival, which takes place every year in Park City, Utah, comes to a close this weekend and, as ever, it’s where stars like Radcliffe come to present their more daring side. Other big talking points at this year’s event have been Richard Linklater’s ‘Before Midnight’, with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy reprising their roles from ‘Before Sunrise’ and ‘Before Sunset’, and various films involving the mercurial James Franco – one of which, ‘Lovelace’, also stars Amanda Seyfried as ‘Deep Throat’ star Linda Lovelace. God knows what the ‘Mamma Mia!’ crowd would make of that.
