Coming home to Roost in Soho

It’s been barely a fortnight since we last mentioned our favourite feathered meal, but yes, you guessed it, we’re going to tell you about yet another chicken joint – this time from the street food operation Roost. Headed up by Cass Titcombe, who co-founded back to basics British restaurant chain Canteen, Roost will be doing a two month residency at The Sun & 13 Cantons in Soho. From February 4 to March 30, the team will be serving up free-range chicken in all shapes and sizes including buttermilk-fried with mash and gravy, in chook and chorizo burgers and in a warming noodle soup. They’ll also be doing take-away.
