With every London summer that passes by, more and more intriguing events become tradition, and newbies sprout up all over the city. Sprouting being the operative word here, as Kew Gardens joins in the fun with the IncrEdibles Festival opening on May 25.
No, this isn’t anything to do with the Pixar superheroes. Instead, this is a weekend full of botanical bliss and supHERB(!) summer activities. There’ll be a carrot patch you can actually bounce on, a global kitchen garden where you can eat all the plants and an amazing sounding Bompas & Parr tutti frutti boating lake in the Palm House pond. We’re hoping it will be like Willy Wonka’s factory, but greener and with less danger of getting stretched, turned blue, or shrunk.
As with all Bompas & Parr edible adventures, this is going to be insanely popular so get booking PRONTO.
