It’s been a frenzied few years for Cockney charmer Micky Flanagan. After more than a decade on the stand-up circuit, his profile suddenly rocketed, thanks to a few key TV appearances, and his invention of the now much-quoted phrase ‘out out’. Two years after his breakthrough tour he’s on the road again with a brand new show, ‘Back in the Game’, which is doing the rounds at enormodomes this Autumn. So, is the new show any Robin Hood (or ‘good’, for those not fluent in rhyming slang)? We saw the show last night, in Wimbledon, and here’s our verdict.
