Sunday Papers Live: a Sunday you don’t want to sleep through

Posted at 4:30 pm, November 20, 2013 in Arts & Entertainment

Get ready for the biggest, best Sunday you will ever have. Seriously, we’re not kidding. This will blow your mind. For the second time this year Sunday Papers Live is hosting an all day event on November 24, where you’ll be able to indulge in all of your favourite Sunday past-times on a grand scale.

No Sunday would be complete without the Sunday papers, and it’s the papers that are at the centre of Sunday Papers Live – hence the name, duh. You can sit back in a comfy living room as the news is brought to life by a wide range of poets, politicians, musicians, actors and writers. And you don’t even have to touch a newspaper.

There will also be a roast provided by eco-chef Tom Hunt, brunch goodies by The Breakfast Club and bloody marys courtesy of Vestel Vodka. What more could you want? A long Sunday walk perhaps? Well they’ve got that covered as well. There are guided walks all day featuring cultural commentaries provided by some of the best thinkers. If that’s still not enough for you then you can take part in workshops, try your hand at some craft and get match-made with the Craftivism Collective and Son & Sons. To top it off, Natty Congeroo & the Flames of Rhythm will be there ending the lazy Sunday with a big bang. This is one Sunday you do not want to sleep through.

Sunday Papers Live takes place November 24, 11am-11pm  at Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regents Park Road, London. Tickets are £30 (food and drink not included) and can be purchased from seetickets.com. For more information visit  the Sunday Papers Live website.
