Nike Fuelband Map

Remember when we told you about the realistic Tube map that showed you if it was quicker to walk instead of taking the Tube? Now Nike has created something similar in an attempt to get Londoners to exercise more and see the sights of the city above ground. The NikeFuel Map shows you routes between Zone 1 Underground stations and how many Fuel points you get for each (their method of calculating activity). They enlisted ‘urbanist’ John Bingham-Hall to walk the routes and make sure all the scenic spots were included. This info was then turned into a map by the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London, and made to look snazzy by designer David Luepschen.

Pick up your map at a Nike store near you or click on the pic above for a larger version.

Think you know zone 1 already? See how many Tube stations you can remember in 10 minutes.
