It’s true what they say: we’re a right bunch of lightweights. And Public Health England are inclined to agree, as London has got the fewest overweight people of any region in England. Just 57.3 percent of Londoners tip the scales into the naughty zone, versus a national average of 64 percent. Come to think of it, though, that’s still more than half.

Some boroughs are more svelte than others, however. Kensington & Chelsea is home to London’s thinnest citizens with only 45.9 percent overweight, and Tower Hamlets, Richmond and Hackney are also on the skinny side. But for a little more badonkadonkdonk, head to Bromley, Bexley or Hillingdon, where 67.2 percent of people weigh in a tad heavy.
