‘Skyfall’ director Sam Mendes’s superb, towering National Theatre production of Shakespeare’s tragedy ‘King Lear’ starring the inimitable Simon Russell Beale scored glowing reviews when it opened at the end of January (including one from Time Out). On May 1 the NT will screen the production live to cinemas across London, the UK and the world and there are loads of tickets to that.
