In what sounds like the plot of a ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ spin-off, a London hospital has revealed eight children had to be evacuated from its paediatric ward after a fox fell through the ceiling a few weeks ago.
That’s right, the bushy-tailed beast climbed up onto the roof of North Middlesex University Hospital in Edmonton while the building was closed for refurbishment in late June. He/she then plummeted dramatically into a a ‘non-patient’ area. (Potentially in an attempt to visit a sick relative and/or tear up some bin bags.)
No-one got hurt (phew) and the RSPCA were alerted about the incident. You’ll also be glad to know security has been stepped up to stop more animal incidents. Thank fox for that.
Maybe he was just bored? Here are ten animals that should be given a job in London.
