Moving soon? This app will help you choose where to live

Posted at 4:30 pm, August 26, 2014 in Transport

Planning to move flat/house/cupboard this autumn? Here’s a handy little device to help you choose which areas to look in.

A customisable graph, it helps you compare potential commute times from different Underground stations around the city to the average weekly rent in the areas surrounding them.

You tell the app your home address and office address then the device calculates how your current flat measures up – and where to move so you’re either closer to work or so that you’re paying less rent (or in a nice equilibrium).

The useful app was made by Find Properly. It’s embedded above, but  if you want to use a full-page version then head here.

Looking for more area info? Here are the most burgled postcodes in the capital.
