Lovers of Le Creuset and zealots for Zyliss, listen up. After a long absence, Divertimenti – that long-serving Xanadu of kitchenware and tableware – has reopened in new premises on Marylebone High Street (the cooking school has relocated to their Brompton Road venue). The new shop is a large space on two floors and sells cookware, knives, cook’s tools, appliances, serving vessels and more – their usual combination of the essential, the useful and the magnificent. It also include a Culinary Salon upstairs where the gastronomic great and good will discuss the latest foodie matters. Appearing at events in early November are Simon Hopkinson and chef Daniel Doherty of Duck & Waffle, among others.
