As any weary nine-to-fiver will tell you, Sundays are sacred, and not to be squandered on foolish pursuits like sorting out bills and hoovering. They’re a time for feasting, thinking and lounging, and you can get your fill of all three at the latest edition of Sunday Papers Live, taking place this weekend at Cecil Sharp House.
For the uninitiated, the event brings the best bits of your Sunday broadsheet to life, through comedy, live music and talks on everything from current affairs to philosophy. This weekend sees guests as diverse as Green Party leader Natalie Bennett, No More Page Three campaigner Jo Harrison and economist Ross Ashcroft heading up the clever stuff, with food taken care of by The Breakfast Club (brunches) and chef Tom Hunt (roasts).
It’s £35 to get in, plus a little more if you want feeding. Full details right here.
