UPDATE: THE BALL PIT IS NOW ALL BOOKED UP BUT WE ARE GIVING AWAY SOME TICKETS. FIND OUT MORE HERE!
Have you ever gazed longingly at the ball pits in Ikea and wished that you were wildly frolicking in there, instead of having an argument about Billy bookcases? Join the club. Well we’ve got great news – there’s a big ol’ ball pit for grown-ups right here in London and you can get involved!
West London creative agency Pearlfisher has created ‘Jump In’, a 30-person pit full of 81,000 white balls ready for play time. Part Martin Creed balloon room, part kids party- this is the most fun you’ll have this week. Members of the public are encouraged to leap about in the snowy terrain with total pure childish abandon (which is exactly what I was doing in these photos). And as if that wasn’t already brilliant news, for every person who takes the plunge, they’re donating £1 to charity Right to Play. Oh and it’s free. Boom.
Bad news is that it’s closing on Feb 13, so email email@example.com immediately to reserve your place as it’s booking up fast. Find out more at pearlfisher.com. It’s open Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm.
Here’s how much fun it is:
