Posted at 5:00 pm, February 6, 2015 in Food & Drink

We’ve rounded up some of the best places in the city to get your hands on a fine selection of boozy beverages.

Bottledog, 69 Gray’s Inn Rd, WC1X 8TP.
Central London is surprisingly low on beer shops, but this Brewdog-owned off-licence in Holborn has a huge range from the Scottish brewery and beyond.

Kris Wines, 394 York Way, N7 9LW.
Founded in 2001, Kris is a good source with a wide international range, particularly strong on Belgian (over 250) and Bavarian (over 80) brews.

Utobeer, 8 Southwark St, SE1 1TL.
This Borough Market specialist claims to have the largest selection of beers in the UK. They also run two beer bars, Tap East and the Rake.

Clapton Craft, 97 Lower Clapton Rd, E5 0NP.
London’s best craft beer shop? The owners can guide you around their brews or fill your growler from their changing kegs.

Dr.ink of Fulham, 349 Fulham Palace Road, SW6 6TB.
Over 600 beers with an emphasis on food matching. They sell their own curry pastes, cook vegetarian Indian on Saturday, and host dinners at a nearby pub.
