Introducing your new favourite bakery hybrid: the cruffin

Foxcroft & Ginger, cruffin

Remember when we all went crazy for cronuts? Well, there’s another food hybrid about to send Londoners into a sugar-fuelled frenzy: the cruffin. The croissant-muffin combo already has a huge following of sweet tooths over the pond in San Francisco, and now it’s coming to London. Artisan café-bakery Foxcroft & Ginger is selling London’s first cruffins alongside its menu of delicious baked goods and sourdough sarnies at its Whitechapel and Soho branches, as well as its new Old Street pop-up. The new venue will be open for three months at Unit 2A, Old Street station, EC1Y 1EB. Get there early because we predict major queues of cruffin-hungry commuters.

Love a food hybrid? Remember when we were all raving about these culinary double-ups?
