Taste brewery-fresh beer and barbecue this summer at Truman’s Yard Parties

Posted at 5:15 pm, April 30, 2015 in Food & Drink

You know that old saying about a piss-up in a brewery? Well, Truman’s has only gone and organised one. Starting this Friday (May 1), Truman’s monthly Yard Parties will give beer geeks a chance to sample ridiculously fresh brews from both cask and keg, which is basically one step away from sticking your face in the fermenter. You can also sample special seasonal brews, meet the team that produces them, and chow down on barbecued dishes in the sunshine (okay, that last part the organisers can’t control).

Entry is free – just pay for your food and booze as you go along. In fact, treat the event like an open-air pub – the organisers have even laid on darts and skittles to get you in the right frame of mind.

Truman’s Yard Parties take place 5.30pm-10pm on May 1, June 5, July 3, August 7 and September 4.
