Tony Hornecker, the guy who brought us the weird and wonderful pop-up dining experience The Pale Blue Door, is back with a new aquatic-themed night called GenderPacific and it looks set to be just as mad. They’ve been pretty secretive on details but here’s what we know so far. It’s upstairs at The Haggerston pub and dinner will be served inside an ‘actual’ submarine complete with ‘portholes into other worlds’ (your guess is as good as ours). Post-dinner entertainment comes courtesy of Greek-born alt-drag star A Man to Pet, whose mum is also hopping over from Cyprus to whip up a weekly changing menu of authentic Greek fare. Tickets are £30, which includes a champagne cocktail, three-course Greek meal and the show. The submarine seats 35 people and half of the dates have already sold out – so snap your tickets up, stat.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to book tickets. May 21–June 21, every Thursday to Sunday upstairs at The Haggerston, 8pm arrival, tickets £30.
