Ever smoked a joint and thought to yourself – ‘hmmm, I wish I was doing this at a quirky London pop-up restaurant except with more hemp and without the actual joint’? Well, you’re in luck.
A new weed-themed pop-up is coming to London for two days in June, courtesy of Grub Club and the chefs at Grub London. The ‘Cannabistro’ will be London’s first weed-themed restaurant and will serve four courses of marijuana-inspired dishes.
But don’t worry, these treats won’t leave you so mashed you can’t see or breathe, like that time in Amsterdam when you had one bite too many of a brownie and ended up following a man with a ponytail around the Van Gogh gallery. You’re so naughty. Nope, the menu’s probably gonna leave you more healthy than high.
On offer: oxtail ravioli, homegrown herb, hemp and beef bone broth and hemp-cured mackerel, samphire, beetroot and horseradish. Plus, there’ll be a dish named ‘The Munchies’ including a re-imagined kebab and Snickers bar.
The event takes place June 26–27. Reserve a spot here.
